Maya Tokunaga Jensen

I’ve been on a lifelong journey to grow my understanding of the nature of our bodies.

I’ve been in multi-disciplinary apprenticeship across fields and modalities.

Sexual / Reproductive / Generative health is inseparable from our whole being.

It’s intertwined with each of our unique personal & collective experiences.

We’re growing a movement of learning, healing, & evolving pelvic self care - rooted in whole body/mind/spirit community care for all bodies.

What People Have Said About Working With Me

I was a biology major in college, so I have learned about my body but not to this extent. This is something I’ve never experienced before. Learning about the ovulation cycle was totally new to me. One of the most profound things was helping me understand what part of the cycle I’m in and paying attention to that. I was just totally blown away.”

Maya is a gifted, comprehensive and thorough sexual/reproductive health and wellness expert. I have learned more from Maya than I ever have from an OB/GYN. Her knowledge, interest and passion for bodies and self-care is groundbreaking

— Kalisha Buckhanon

“Consulting with Maya about my reproductive health was enjoyable and beneficial. There was lots to learn and she did a great job at explaining medical stuff in a way that was easy to understand, remember, and implement. I love that she encourages listening to my body. The classes are very casual and not intimidating. Maya creates a comfortable space to ask questions. Talking with Maya has encouraged me to be more mindful and patient with my body. To rethink my cycle and reproductive system in a more positive and less fearful way.”

— Onicia M

“Maya provides a very open minded environment for one-on-one consultation. Knowledge of fertility awareness and tracking is a sort of lost wisdom that every cycling person must know. I began tracking my cycle to inform my birth control practices. Maya provides an inclusive space for everyone and her lessons are informed by a deep understanding of feminist and QTPOC issues.”
